From Piano Lessons to Carnegie Hall: Celebrating a Journey of Music and Achievement

In life, some moments take you by surprise, and then some moments leave you astounded. Today, I’m excited to share one of those awe-inspiring moments from my own life, something I don’t typically do.

It’s a story that began two and a half years ago when my wife and I decided to enroll our daughter, Pamela, in piano lessons.

At the time, our decision was based on a combination of factors. We believed that piano lessons would contribute to Pamela’s brain development and provide her with a valuable skill. We also saw it as an opportunity to broaden her cultural horizons. But if I’m being completely honest, we mostly did it because this is what my wife Sheila wanted...

So, we thought, why not? It seemed like no big deal.

Little did we know that this seemingly simple decision would lead to a journey filled with incredible achievements.

Fast forward to today, and I am bursting with pride as I share the remarkable news. Pamela, our daughter, has not only excelled in her piano lessons but has also made a name for herself in the world of music.

She has notched up multiple wins in international piano competitions and has been invited to grace the stage of one of the most iconic venues in the world—the legendary Carnegie Hall in New York City. Her performance is scheduled for this December, and the excitement in our household is palpable.

As Pamela prepares diligently for her grand performance, I wanted to take a moment to share one of the songs she has been practicing lately. It’s a testament to her dedication and passion for music, a journey that started as a simple "why not" and has turned into something truly extraordinary.

This journey has been a testament to the power of nurturing a child’s interests. It reminds us that the pursuits we embark upon with an open heart and a willingness to explore can lead to incredible outcomes.

I also want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you, whether you have supported my estate planning practice or have joined me in celebrating these special moments in my role as a father and husband. Your encouragement and support mean the world to us, and we are truly grateful for it.
